Email Newsletters

  • We may distribute an email which will be used to inform any of our blog subscribers about news, information and events.
  • Users can subscribe at their own discretion through an online automated process Subscriptions are taken in compliance with UK Spam Laws detailed in the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003. All personal details relating to subscriptions are held securely and in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2018 (GDPR)
  • If you choose to subscribe to any of our services, the email address that you submit to us may be forwarded to a third party email address who provide us with email marketing services. We consider that the service we will be using will be a third party data processor. The email address that you submit will not be stored within this website’s own database or in any of our internal computer systems for purposes of receiving the email newsletter.
  • Your email address will remain within our database for as long as we continue to use that email services for email marketing or until you specifically request removal from the list.
  • In compliance with UK Spam Laws, the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 and GDPR legislation, subscribers are given the opportunity to unsubscribe at any time through an automated system detailed in the footer of each email newsletter or by requesting removal by email to bensplaceny@gmail.com
  • When requesting removal via email, please send your email to us using the email account that is subscribed to our services if you are under 16 years of age you MUST obtain parental consent before joining our services.
  • While your email address remains within our database you may receive periodic newsletter-style emails and mailings from us.
  • Ben’s Place (North Yorkshires) newsletter style emails and mailings sent via our email supplier may contain tracking facilities within the actual email. Subscriber activity is tracked and stored in a database for future analysis and evaluation.
